 RAIDING: The Unpleasant Truth (RULES AND STUFF!) |

Rules For Raiding:
You will be booted from the raid ASAP if you don't follow them.
#1. Don't be a dick.
#2. Don't whine. (See #1)
#3. If we ask you to do something for the benefit of the raid or because of a fight mechanic, do it, even though you'll fall behind on the dps meter.
#4. Don't sign up for raids you can't attend. (See #1)
#5. Show up on time, repaired and ready to go. (See #1)
#6. Bring buffs if it's a new and difficult raid.
#7. If you're able to attend a guild 25 man and help the guild progress you better not go join a pug because its a "fresh clear". (See #1)
25 Man Specific Rules:
#1. Be AT THE RAID on time. People who are at the raid 15 minutes early get bonus points, and that means people who don't need summons get more gear.
#2. Don't complain about missing a buff or two if we're on trash. We'll rebuff before bosses, but we cant stop to buff you if you died on trash.
#3. TIME is a valuable thing in a 25 man raid. Do not waste ours and we will not waste yours.
#4. Please let us know ahead of time if you have to leave during the raid.
#5. Bring FLASKS. Yes FLASKS. They are the ones that dont dissappear when you die. They are not elixirs, they are not food buffs, they are not cheap, and if you don't have them you are immediately less valuable to us than anyone else who does have them.
#6. Have enough hit rating. If you do not have enough hit rating, you should be taking pieces of gear with hit rating over EVERY OTHER STAT. Having more spellpower or attack power will add maybe 20-40 damage onto your attack. Missing ONE attack will take 2000-4000 damage AWAY from you.
If you come to a raid with us, be prepared for "learning experiences" if we don't have the raid on farm. If you don't have repair money (for several repairs), enough pots/food and time, don't sign up. If you complain about any of those things, you won't be invited to future raids.
That aside, lets all have fun conquering the new WotLK Raids! There's a lot of new folks in the guild, hopefully we'll grow into a cohesive family raiding unit like in Burning Crusade.
