We need to get back into 25 mans, none o' this 10 man crap! It's crampin our style!
To do that, we need to get some more level 80 healers (1-2) and tanks (1-2) and dps (4-5). Keep your eyes/ears open fellow guildies, we need people who want to raid in the morning (11 am server time) and are motivated!

We're going to be raiding soon, are you ready?
When gearing up, in addition to whatever regular stats you must focus on keep in mind hit rating (because you cant do dps if you cant hit anything) and stamina (because Naxx will be virgin territory for us, and survivability will go a long way towards learning the fights).

As soon as enough of us are 80 to start pugging Naxx groups, the raiding will begin! Hopefully it won't take long before we have enough 80's in the guild to do Naxx!

25 Man Raiding Hiatus Until WotLK

Magna Carta is going to take a break on 25 man raiding until the next expansion pack is released. With it due out in only a few months, and with it being Fall, all our guildies are going back to school or focusing on their alts or taking WoW-breaks. Unfortunately its just too large a portion of our raiders that are pre-occupied with other things at the moment, and we'd all like some time to get ready for the expansion. We will continue to run 10 mans until then but 25 mans are on hold until we're all level 80. 8)

If you have never seen the changes that happen when an expansion pack is released, expect that a lot of bigger guilds will split up, disband, and the entire order of guilds on every server will get mixed around. Guilds that were very progressed before might be behind everyone else in WotLK, guilds that didn't even exist might be the most progressed, etc. A lot of people will leave a lot of guilds because of the fact that all the raid encounters will be able to be completed as 10 man raids (with worse loot of course), and 10 mans are very popular.

Magna Carta is going to take advantage of this shift by getting to 80 as fast as possible and getting raiding ASAP, so we will be ahead of everyone! (Well except maybe Ascent, but I'd settle for second place)

Tips for the WotLK:

Sell all your enchanting mats, rep items, etc NOW. While they are still normal price in the AH.

If you are holy/prot, get a good dps set going so you'll be able to level fast in WotLK.

Remember that people level at different speeds, and level 80 characters will be looking for anyone else that is level 80 to raid with - so the first people to 80 will likely end up being the first on our raid team, and we will likely recruit and go through a LOT of new people in the expansion.

If you want to switch your role/character, now is the time. You have from now until we're all level 80 to become dps, tankage, heals, whatever you want.

Initially we will be fored to take whoever is high leveled enough and motivated enough to tackle raids and figure out strategies ourselves - which is a good thing if you want to achieve more than you have previously in WoW!
